School Safety — NDMA 2016 · NSSP · Supreme Court · NCPCR
The four 2022 Principal-paper questions came from here: NDMA's 2016 Guidelines table by table, the NSSP DM-plan template, the CBSE 2017 circular, Avinash Mehrotra's directions and the NCPCR 2021 manual — and where the sources disagree.
WHY THIS NOTE EXISTS
The 17 July 2022 Principal paper asked four questions in a row on this topic — q088 to q091, 10 marks — and until now the library had practice questions on it but no theory to learn it from. All four came from one document, the NDMA School Safety Policy Guidelines of 2016, and three of the four came from its tables:
| 2022 item | What it tested | Where it lives in the Guidelines |
|---|---|---|
| q088 | Which things count as hazards | §2.3.1, the all-hazard approach — structural and non-structural lists |
| q089 | Who designates the School Safety Focal Point Teacher | §5.4 action table — Principal / Headmaster |
| q090 | What is not a duty of the school administration | §4.7 — school administration's list |
| q091 | How many students sit on the School DM Committee | Annexure 8, the NSSP template — four |
The lesson for your study time: this topic is examined as who does what, how often, and how many — the action table and the template, not the preamble. Parts 2.12, 2.13 and 2.14 below carry most of the marks.
